Arts Council of the Valley and The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham selected 20 area artists to use household doors as blank canvases to highlight and celebrate inclusion, acceptance, unity, diversity, and belonging. Finished doors are on display throughout downtown Harrisonburg now through September 2023, with a variety of activities planned to encourage interaction. While a Fall 2023 event will conclude the project, it is anticipated that some Art Doors will remain publicly exhibited well beyond that time.
