Rosie Clark

Rosie Clark lives in Augusta County, Virginia and attends Bridgewater College as a Digital Media Arts Major. Rosie works in multiple mediums but makes her most authentic work through painting with textured mediums such as modeling paste and acrylic paint. She is passionate about cultivating beauty through portrait painting to show individuals’ unique lives and experiences. Painting allows Rosie to deepen close ties with portrait subjects through engaging with their stories in a one-on-one connection.

My portrait of these students from The VA School for the Deaf and the Blind aims to include the blind and visually impaired in the enjoyment of experiencing art through texture and bold contrast. (Words also in braille on door.)
