Maria McIntyre

Maria McIntyre is a James Madison University art major who paints primarily in oil; she loves portraiture and capturing human expression and emotion. Maria has designed company logos and has experience with commissioned artwork. She believes art is the best way to capture what words cannot. She has a particular devotion to sacred art, and desires to bring faithful elements of hope and light to her work and everyone that views it.

Our Lady of Guadalupe

Our Lady of Guadalupe is a symbol of class, identity, and faith. She came at a time of racial injustice, picked Juan Diego, a man from the lowest class, and performed the greatest miracle in the Americas.
