Jerry Holsopple
Jerry Holsopple, a storyteller and artist, works in forms from cinema and theater to photography, painting and glass. He focuses on places of trauma while seeking hope rather than despair. Jerry has traveled to places of deep pain - collaborating with peace-makers in war zones, youth experiencing the effects of racism, survivors of sexual abuse - encouraging them to tell their stories. He takes these experiences into the classroom, where he enables students to engage in the creation of their own work.
