David Cowardin

David Cowardin grew up in Richmond, Virginia, graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a painting and printmaking degree. While at VCU he studied printmaking in Winchester, England. David subsequently lived in Newport News, Virginia and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, eventually settling in the Shenandoah Valley where he put his art training’s heightened visualization skills to use in solving manufacturing problems. Now retired and a full-time artist, he enjoys dog sitting for his daughters in Washington D.C..
