Volunteering with Court Square Theater is a great way to support the arts in your community. Every volunteer sees the show FOR FREE! As long as you’re booked, we’ll save a seat for you. Concessionist - Court Square Theater

Join the team at Court Square Theater (CST)
Applicants be at least 21 years of age. Applicants must have a somewhat flexible schedule, be able to work evenings and weekends, and have excellent cash handling and audience-relations skills, Theatrical/Cinematic (familiarity with stage lighting instruments and sound equipment) experience is a plus.
The hours can vary month to month depending on the theaters event schedule.
The successful candidate will receive thorough training in all areas of responsibility. The starting wage is between $9 - $10 depending on experience.
CONCESSIONIST JOB DESCRIPTION:
Selling concessions during live theater, rentals and music events
Maintain concession supplies
Inform CST House Manager of supplies inventory
Conduct beginning and end of shift accounting and closing procedures and reports.
Cleaning of concessions area
Selling of alcoholic beverages
Enforcement of ABC regulations
Potential for On-Call House Management, or Movie shifts
Helping with load-in and load-out for performing artists (musicians, dancers, etc.)
Assisting the House Manager with any other duties over the course of each event
Staying after closing to help House Manager with any other cleaning duties.
Selling of merchandise, gift cards or ACV memberships during events.
Helping to raise money for ACV through solicitation of donations.
Free admission to all CST Movies.
Free tickets to some CST events.
Exposure to local arts and culture.
Training on technical operations of movie projector and sound equipment
