Since 2009, the Arts Council has presented over 65 month-long exhibitions in our Darrin-McHone Gallery space. Our exhibition openings take place on the first Friday of the month in conjunction with downtown Harrisonburg’s First Fridays program.

Our exhibitions feature work by leading artists from the Valley or group shows created by faculty and/or students from local universities, colleges, and public schools. For a list of First Friday dates and participating venues, visit our First Fridays Downtown page.
